Product overview
What is listed for ISCAR 46#
ISCAR 46# is listed in the industrial hydraulic-oil range. The 46# designation refers to ISO VG 46; the current page does not show additional performance claims. Confirm the TDS before ordering.
46# is positioned for hydraulic systems whose manufacturer specifies ISO VG 46. Viscosity grade is not a quality rating; pump type, operating temperature and start-up conditions determine the correct choice.
Applications
- Industrial hydraulic systems where the manual specifies ISO VG 46.
- Equipment operating within the pump manufacturer's viscosity limits.
- Not for systems requiring ISO VG 68 or a different hydraulic-oil specification.
- Not a substitute for gear oil, engine oil or transmission fluid.
Before ordering
- Pump manufacturer, ISO VG requirement, operating and start-up temperatures.
- Current TDS: viscosity, viscosity index, pour point and any OEM claim.
- System cleanliness and filtration.
- Pack size and required quantity.
Documents
Request the technical data sheet (TDS), safety data sheet (SDS), batch certificate (COA) where available, and evidence of any OEM approval for the exact product. Packaging designations are not a statement of independent certification.
For a quotation, include the country, grade, pack size, quantity and required documents.

What is the difference between 46 and 68?
ISO VG 46 and 68 describe viscosity at 40°C; 68 is thicker. Use the grade specified by the pump or equipment manufacturer and the operating temperature.
Can I mix 46# with another hydraulic oil?
Avoid mixing different products or grades. In an emergency, use a compatible product that meets the same specification, then return to the correct oil; confirm with the equipment maker.
Is 46# an anti-wear hydraulic oil?
The page does not assert an anti-wear classification. Check the TDS for the exact performance claims and OEM approvals.
